Hozier leaves me speechless again
When it was announced that he was playing The Beacon - I just knew the show was going to be insane! The first time I saw Tomahawk was at the Bowery Ballroom in May of 2026. Thinking about that voice in that theatre gave me chills. Crowd was very energetic - most of us standing the whole time in a theatre where one usually sits. Irving is around 1,025. And I was not wrong! Just an amazing show! Then I was fortunate enough to see him at both Irving Plaza shows in November 2026. I wish I could re-live this night many times over! I also knew when I bought this ticket that it may be the last time I see him in such an intimate venue. BB has a capacity under 600. After Tomahawk hits the feastivals this summer, he's definitely going to need larger venues, and as happy as I am for that success for him, I will miss seeing him in such intimate venues.
